Commissioner Brauer stated a concern he had was TC4, which had concentrated housing units in <br />a particular area. He asked if they could have another district to ensure that was the only place <br />they had them. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt agreed, stating they could have TC4a, supported by language in the district <br />wording. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to approve the sketch <br />plan contingent upon compliance with Planning Commission stipulations. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Shepherd, Van <br />Scoy and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Reeve. <br /> <br />Case #10: Consideration of the Town Center Zoning District; Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt opened the public hearing at 10:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Tmdgeon stated it was discussed at the Council/Planning work session on June <br />3rd that this needs to be gone through line by line. He would like to schedule a meeting in June <br />for a workshop and table this discussion tonight. <br /> <br />It was discussed a meeting would be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at 6:30 p.m. at the City <br />Hall to review the Town Center zoning district. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Johnson to continue the public hearing and table a <br />recommendation on the ordinance creating the Town Center Zoning District to July 10, 2003. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Commissioner Reeve. <br /> <br />Case #12: <br /> <br />Request for Preliminary Plat Review of Town Center Gardens; Case of <br />BrightKeys Development Corporation <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon explained that Brightkeys Development Corporation has submitted a <br />preliminary plat for the development of a townhouse subdivision. The property is generally <br />located in the northwest comer of the intersection of County Road 56 and County Road 116. He <br />adyised the total development site consists of 51.91 acres and Brightkeys is proposing to develop <br />a first phase of 152 townhomes on 21.77 net acres. He stated the Planning Commission and City <br />Council has previously reviewed a sketch plan for the development in September 2002. At the <br />time, there was some discussion about bringing into the development the two properties located <br />at the very northwest comer of Highway 116 and Ramsey Boulevard.
