City Attorney Goodrich stated that staff will can bring a case forward once the City receives the <br />funds. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if it was an exclusive easement. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich replied no. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to authorize execution of <br />a settlement agreement with the City of Anoka for the right of entry agreement entered into on <br />July 11, 1995. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Elvig, Kurak, Cook, Pearson, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case//15: Report from Public Works Committee <br /> <br />The Public Works Committee met on May 20, 2003 and discussed the following six cases: <br /> <br />Case A: Tiger Street Speed Reduction Request <br />The Public Works Conunittee recommended that a case be prepared for the June 17, 2003 Public <br />Works Committee meeting, and that all the properties within 350 feet of Tiger Street be notified. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Public Wor~ks Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Zimmerman, Elvig, Kurak, <br />and Pearson. Voting No: Councilmember Cook. <br /> <br />P68 <br /> <br />Case/ti: Consider Sewer and Water Trunk Changes Associated with Alpine Acres <br /> Subdivision <br />The Public Works Committee recommended that 1) The City pay for the construction cost of <br />extending the sanitary sewer north to Alpine Drive ($150,000) 2) That the City pay for the <br />difference between the previous trunk estimate and the current trunk estimate ($817,780- <br />$657,789 = $159,991) 3) That the developer will be reimbursed any trunk charges collected by <br />the City for any development within the "triangle" bounded by C.R. #57, CSAH 5, and Alpine <br />Drive that occurs through January 1,2010. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Zimmerman stated that he was opposed because he felt that <br />the developer should be paying the entire cost. <br /> <br />City Council/June 10, 2003 <br /> Page 18 of 24 <br /> <br /> <br />
