Absent: Chairperson Nixt and Board Member Reeves. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Appointment of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson for Year 2003 <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Johnson, seconded by Board Member Watson to appoint Michael Nixt <br />Chairperson of the Ramsey Board of Adjustments for Year 2003. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Board Members Johnson, Watson, Brauer, Shepherd and Van <br />Scoy. Voting No: None. Abse.nt: Chairperson Nixt and Board Member Reeves. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Brauer, seconded by Board Member Johnson to appoint Gary Van <br />Scoy Co-Chairperson 05' the Ramsey Board of Adjustments for Years 2003. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Chairperson Nixt and Board Member <br />Reeves. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt arrived at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br /> Request for a Variance to the Minimum Lot Width Requirement in the R-1 <br /> Residential District of the Rural' Developing Area; Case of Robert Letendre <br />' and Theresa Wiebe. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik advised that Mr. Letendre resides at 17120 Tiger Street <br />NW. He is proposing to subdivide his property to create a buildable lot for his daughter. She <br />explained Mr. Letendre's property is approximately 17 acres in size and is located in the Rural <br />Developing area of the R-1 Residential District. The min/mum lot size is 2.5 acres and the <br />minimum lot width is 200 feet. He has a total of 289 feet of frontage on Tiger Street; 400 feet of <br />frontage would be required for each lot to meet the 200-foot requirement, without constructing a <br />public road into the property. She indicated Mr. Letendre's plan is that the existing homestead <br />will maintain 200 feet of frontage on Tiger Street and the new lot for his daughter would have the <br />remaining 89 feet of frontage on Tiger Street. <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment/June 5, 2003 <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
