wetlands. The percentage was not functioning the way it was intended to be used in order to be an asset to the City. Commissioner Olds raised the question that if there is 10 years of dry weather, what was wetland 10 years ago would then be dried up and would that still be wetlands. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos responded there is a finite science to determine that. Chairperson Cook stated the DNR wetland boundaries do not change. If a developer deemed a wetland buildable, another area would need to be mitigated to provide the wetland. · Note: Comprehensive Plan Public Hearing on January 24, 2002 Items that should be discussed include Sunfish Lake area planning; updating the trail maps; issues along T.H. #47; and lawful gambling. · Note: Anoka County Parks Agenda This agenda is prepared the same day as the Park and Recreation's agenda and therefore cannot be included. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated it is important for the Park and Recreation Commission and the City Council to meet periodically. He said he would like to schedule a joint workshop to discuss items and then move into the finance meeting. He suggested the date be January 22nd.
