Single-family and two-family <br />dwellings shall comply with the requirements of Chapter 11-700 and <br />Section 11-907. Multiple dwellings, state licensed residential <br />facilities serving 17 or more persons, and other attached dwellings <br />determined by the Planning Commission to be similar to multiple <br />dwellings shall comply with the requirements of Chapter 11-1000 and <br />Section 11-908. Public uses or utilities and principle conditional <br />uses listed under Section 11-604 shall comply with Chapter 11-1200. <br />Day care 'facilities serving sixteen (16) or fewer persons shall <br />comply with-the standards for the dwelling unit in which they are <br />located. For quad homes, townhouses, state licensed residential <br />facilities serving 16 or fewer persons, and other attached dwelling <br />structures determined by the Planning Commission to be similar to <br />quad homes or townhouses the District Standards shall be as <br />follows: [Revised 4/i8/95, Ordinance No. I526] <br /> <br /> (1) Buildi. nc De$.icrn. All structures shall be designed to be <br />compatible with their surrounding land uses. Special care shall be <br />taken to blend such structures with adjacent dwelling units. Ail <br />exterior wall surfaces of the residential structures, including <br />garages, shall be of the same .or compatible facing material as that <br />used on the front of the building. Such surfaces shall be of wood <br />siding, face brick, stone, or a compatible material. [Revised <br />4/18/95, Ordinance No. 1526] <br /> (2) Bu~_!dinc.Varietv. All residential units shall be designed <br />with as much variety as possible through the use of different <br />exterior materials, colors, landscaping, 'mixtures of building <br />types, staggered setbacks, and broken roof lines. No more than two <br />(2) adjacent townhouse units .in. a townhouse group. Shall have the <br />same setback. The-Planning Commission may waive this requirement <br />when there is a significant variation in the setback within a <br />townhouse unit.
