The City of Rarnsey will require that the noise fi.om State Highway g47 not exce, ed the N~CA standards for noise for the new residents. 'The City hms hired a consultant to complete a study-on the tra~c noise levels that are generated on State Highway #47 [nctuding projected noise levets for the next 20 years. The cost will be $2,000.00:' In the event that the study reveals that noise levels Will exceed the state's noise standards; the Cit~ v,411 require mitigation of the noise through a sound wall or other 'measures. It should be noted that ali sound mitigation measures are subject to the City Engineers approval. 12. Sidewalks: Sidewalks are required along one side of the public road. 'The sidewalk .should ex-tend all the way down to the southern edge of the plat. Please submit a revised plan showing the location of the sidewalk. For your information, sidewalks need to be built within the fight-of-way and located one foot from the edge of the right-of-way. 13'. Other Permits: The developer is responsible for obtaining any permits required from other regulatory agencies. The Planning Commission will be meeting at 7:00 p.m; on Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Ramsey Fire Station #2, to review your preliminary plat. A copy of the case cover sheet is enclosed for your information. I suggest that you, or your representative, be present at the meeting to answer any questions that may arise.
