Construction started <br />earlier this year with funding provided by the 2001 Minnesota <br />State Legislature through a Metropolitan Council Grant.' This <br />facility was designed by Buetow and Associates architects and <br />was built by CMConstruction Company of Burnsville, MN. <br /> <br />~'.-):/?:-:?, 7!?i; · were installed the week of August 12a.' <br /> <br /> campers needing miscellaneous items such as ice, firewood, <br /> bike rental, insect, repellent, and other items. <br /> <br /> .The new building is located at the entrance to the campground <br /> and is nestled in the woods for a very natural appearance <br />-- which also has an attached patio area·facing the woods. The <br /> department plans on creating a small amphitheater with a <br /> firering neaF the building for outdoor events and nature <br /> programs In ~the winter season, the department plans to offer <br /> cross-country ski and snowshoe rental along with a variety of <br /> winter recreational programs for the public.
