CASE #3 <br /> <br />RECOMMEND PARK DEDICATION FOR <br />WILDLIFE SANCTUARY 3m) ADDITION <br />By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The purpose of this case is to recommend Park Dedication for the proposed 46 unit <br />subdivision entitled Wildlife Sanctuary 3rd Addition. This plat is now at the preliminary <br />plat stage. The Developer has been asked to prepare for the meeting, a composite of all <br />that is currently proposed or approved relating to development North of Alpine Drive and <br />in between T.H.#47 and Co. Rd. #5. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Earlier this year when reviewing all the development in this area, the Commission <br />discussed the need to identify open space siting in the vicinity for the future. While the <br />Commission recognized the Municipal Center property as potentially meeting that need it <br />was also acknowledged that each subdivision that comes in for review, can not be judged <br />as an isolated project. <br /> <br />Prior to making a recommendation for Wildlife Sanctuary 3rd, this analySis should occur. <br /> <br />Attached for your information is the November Planning Commissions case pertaining to <br />this proposed plat. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend Park Dedication consist of a cash payment of $ <br />trail fees in the amount of $18,400. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Copies to: <br />City Administrator <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief <br />Mr. John Peterson <br /> <br />P&R: 11/14/02 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br /> <br />
