Mr. Littlejohn replied that they are concerned about the humidity not the condensation. <br />stated that they have no problem building within the water tower as long ~ it is on the floor. <br /> <br />City Engineer O{son stated that he has discussed the issue with the desig-ner of the water tower <br />and they are confident that the mezzanine would not collapse. The mezzanine could hold 250 <br />pounds per square foot. <br /> <br />Mr. Littlejohn noted that the equipment is 360 square feet and 26 tons including the walls and air <br />handling units. <br /> <br />Mayor Garner inquired if the reason for the upper mezzanine is so that the City can use the lower <br />level. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works Kapler replied yes. He explained that the City chose the water tower <br />design so that [t could be used for public works storage and the upper level could be used for <br />communication equipment. <br /> <br />City.
