Case #3: <br /> <br />Consider Request of City of Elk River to Form a Regional Park and Trail <br />Coalition <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that on December 21, 2000 staff received a letter from the <br />City of Elk River staff and Park Commission. The letter invited the City of Ramsey Park and <br />Recreation Commission to participate in a "Regional Park Coalition" for planning and <br />development purposes. He stated it would be beneficial to have known if there was one or more <br />commission members interested in attending meetings. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Park Commission was to direct staff to have further contact with Elk River <br />regarding the coalition to determine if other cities will be involved and what subjects that would <br />be addressed. <br /> <br />Case #4: Elmcrest Park Concept Plan <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that the purpose of the case was to remind the cable <br />television viewers of the scheduled Committee meeting on Thursday, January 25, 2001 at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />During Commission/Staff Input the following items were discussed: <br /> <br />1) Anoka County Park Agenda <br />2) City of Anoka Pool Funding Request <br />3) Metro Greenways Nomination Update <br />4) Note Industrial Park Platting <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Ostrum, seconded by Commissioner LaMere, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice-Chair Johns, Commissioners Ostrum, LaMere, <br />Droegemueller, and Rolfe.
