Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos discussed the information with the Commission. Commissioner Osrrum asked if they have looked at this before. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated they have talked about th/s as.part of Central Park entrance improvement project. Chairperson 'Johns asked if this included drinking fountains or just irrigation. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated they-try to break out the project in a number of different ways so they have options. Commissioner Ostrum asked if he was proposing a bid on those options. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied this is exactly what is occurring. Commissioner Rolfe asked if they would be installing a new system or adding onto the existing system. Parks/Utilities SuPervisor Boos stated the existing system is over taxed and they would derive the water source form the warming house well. Commissioner Rolfe asked if they 'could use this system to help relieve some of the over taxing of the other system. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied not really. Motion by Commissioner Olds, seconded by Comrrfissioner Shryock to continue submitting quotes on the irrigation project. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Olds, Shryock, LaMere, Ostrum, and Rolfe. Voting No: None. Absent: None. COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT · The Connection Newsletter Mr. Tom Ramberg asked if there was a possibility for a piece of land that they could, use for a bike trail and jump. He also wanted to know how he could get involved in the C/.ty to help keep kids involved in activities and out of trouble.
