Midwest Asphalt installed
approximately 3,000 feet of asphalt cart paths
servicing several different locations throughout the
course..As aresult of this construction, landscaping
and turf restoration became a concern along the
length of this new addition.

The Maintenance Unit recently received a requ.e,.5~
from the golf course staff for assistance with
major project. After discussion with the course
Superintendent, the stage was set, for this dirt work
to move forward.

The Anoka County Highway Department maintains
a stockpile of black soil and arrangements were
made to purchase' 100 cubic yards at $$.00 per
cubic yard. Not only was this an outstanding price,
but also the Highway Department provided trucks
anddrivers to haul the material out to the staging
area at the golf course. Many thanks go out to Ron
Haag and crew for the help that was provided.

Chomonix's cart paths are looking spectacular this year!

26
Paee 4
