The TC-4 District shall provide a higher density <br /> housing area adjacent to the Mixed-Use Core and Main Street Sub- <br />. Districts. Traditional nei~borh0od design of streets, sidewalks <br /> and paths provide easy pedestr/an mobility throughout the Sub- <br /> District. Protection of natural areas and corridors that link the <br /> natural environment to everyday' life is emphasized in this area. <br /> <br />eo <br /> <br />Park and Open Space Sub-District - "TC-5.' The park and <br />open space Sub-District is intended to preserve environmental <br />features, provide amenities and create focal points and commtmity <br />gathering ptaces within easy access of all areas of the Town <br />Center. A minimum of 10 percent of the gross acreage of the <br />Town Center shall consist of open space that is improved 'for <br />public use. This open space may be located within any Sub- <br />District. Areas designated within the TC-5 Sub-District, however, <br />are restricted from other types of development, with the exception <br />of certain civic uses, as shown in Table 1. <br /> <br />Subd. 3.
