Service island identification signs indicating the type of service offered; the price of gasoline; and other relevant information, within reason, pertaining to the facility; or direction to persons using the facility shall be subject to the following: i. Service island si~s may be located on the outermost wall of any principal building or at each 'service or pump island located on the .parcel. Menu Board. One (1) on-site menu board per drive-up or walk-up lane of a drive-in restaurant up to a mm, c/mum of thirty-two (32) square feet each. Menu boards are allowed a message on one side only and cannot contain an' advertising message. 6. Directional S ig:ns Directional or Instructional signs are permitted accordance with §9.12.03 Subd. 9. ii. Parking lot directional signs designating parking area entrances and ex/ts are lhnited to one sign for each entrance and/or exit and shall not exceed four square feet for each exposed face. Parking lot directional sigaas shall not project higher than five (5) feet in height, as measured from the established grade of the parking area to which such signs are accessory. Ul. Parking lot instructional si~s designating the conditions of use or identification parking areas shall not exceed 8 square feet and shall not project higher than ten (10) feet in height for wall signs and seven (7)' feet in height for ground signs, as measured from the established grade of the parking area(s) to which such signs are accessory. iv. Window signs are restricted to thirty percent (30%) of the area of the window in which the sign is to be displayed. 49
