Symbolic characters without <br />back~ound except that provided by the building <br />surface to wi~ch the si gn is to be affixed; and <br /> <br /> Illumination, if any, is ackieved throu~?_h shielded <br />·il]umination, shielded silhouette lighting, or <br /> shielded spot lighting but not any li~ting where the <br /> light source is visible or exposed on the face or <br /> sides of the characters. <br /> <br />A wall, canopy or marquee sign may be located on <br />the outermost wail of any principal building but <br />shall not project more than sixteen (l 6) inches from <br />the wall to which the sign is to be affixed. A wall <br />sign shall not project higher than the parapet lflne of <br />the wall to which the sign is to be aftixed. <br /> <br />Ground Sign. There shall not be more than one (I) ~ound <br />sign for each parcel. The ~oss surface area of a ground <br />sign shall not exceed one hundred (100) square feet for <br />each exposed face nor exceed an aggregate gross surface <br />area of two hundred (200) square feet. <br /> <br />SerVice Bay Identification Signs. Service bay <br />.identification signs providing direction· or instruction to <br />persons using the facility and contair2ng no adYertising <br />material of any kind shall be subject to the follow/ng: <br /> <br />All service bay identification signs shall be wall <br />signs. <br /> <br />ii. <br /> <br />There shall not be more than one (1) se~Wice bay <br />identification si~_n for each se~wice bay located on <br />the parcel. <br /> <br />111. <br /> <br />A service bay identifcation sign may be located on <br />the. outermost wall of any principal 5uilding <br />adjacent to a service bay entrance. <br /> <br />4S- - <br /> <br /> <br />
