In reference to the development agreement between the City of <br />Ramsey and Rum River Meadow's Associate's, developer and <br />owner. <br /> <br />It states in paragraph one that "The parties acknowledge that <br />the plat of Rum River Hill's is part of an overall planned unit <br />development submitted pursuant to the City code of Ramsey, and <br />planned unit development of said Code." <br /> <br />It also states that "The parties further acknowledge that said <br />planned, unit development incorporates single family residential <br />usage, commercial usages, open space recreational usages." <br /> <br />In reference to ~k of the planned unit development under <br />intent: <br /> <br />Energy conservation through the use of more efficient <br />building design's and through the clustering of build- <br />ings and land use. <br /> <br />* We believe that if the maintenance building is moved <br />from it's present location that is should be clustered <br />closely to the clubhouse, or to a location that does <br />not border residential property. <br /> <br />A high quality of design and design compatible with <br />surrounding land use's, both existing and planned. <br /> <br />* We believe a building of this size and height and <br /> it's assosiated activities are not compatible with <br /> the existing and surrounding land use. <br /> <br />That the proposal shall exercise no substahtial <br />detrimental influence on the market value of surrounding <br />properties. <br /> <br />* We believe the development of this site as proposed <br /> will have a substantial detrimental influence on the <br /> market vaue of surrounding property. <br /> <br />That the proposal in no way be detrimental to the <br />enviormento Scenic aspect's and natural feature's <br />shall be protected and preserved to the greatest <br />extent possible. <br /> <br />* We believe that the scenic aspect's of the Golf Course, <br /> especially as viewed from Highway 47 and surrounding <br /> propertie's will be adversely affected because of the <br /> proposed site plan and it's associated activities. <br /> <br /> <br />
