BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Board of Adjustment conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, July 20, 1995 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Chairperson Benjamin Deemer <br /> Board Member David Bawden <br /> Board Member Charles LaDue <br /> Board Member Michael Terry <br /> Board Member Bradley Thomd <br /> <br />Members Absent: Board Member Terry Hendriksen <br /> Board Member Paul Holland <br /> <br />Also Present: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Deemer called the regular Board of Adjustment meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member LaDue to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, LaDue, Terry, and <br />Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Members Hendriksen and Holland. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Chairperson Deemer adjourned the regular Board of Adjustment meeting at 7:33 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the following public hearing: <br /> <br />1) Request for a variance from street frontage or lot width requirements; case of Joel Nelson. <br />Chairperson Deemer called the regular Board of Adjustment meeting back to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Request for a Variance from Street Frontage or Lot Width <br /> Requirements; Case of Joel Nelson <br /> <br />Malcolm Allen, realtor representing Joel and JoDee Nelson, stated that erosion control and <br />drainage concerns have been addressed by requiring (1) a completely paved driveway, (2) <br />engineering staff approval of the hammerhead turn-around, and (3) an erosion maintenance <br />escrow. <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment/July 20, 1995 <br /> Page I of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
