There are several objectives to this proposed project. The main purpose is beautification <br />of a portion of the Lake Itasca Trail System. This will be accomplished with the addition <br />of landscaping which will include trees, bushes, benches and birdhouses. <br /> <br />The proposed project would provide considerable benefits. The area to be focused on is <br />open and flat. The most noticeable benefit is that of adding character and a point of <br />interest to the trail. Benches and trash receptacles would be much appreciated as well as <br />necessary additions to the trail system. And last, but certainly not least, the planting of <br />additional trees and birdhouses along the trail are an obvious boost for the environment. <br /> <br />PROJECT CONSIDERATIONS <br /> <br />- Describe the project's time line from start to completion. <br /> <br /> This project will begin Spring, 1995, dependent upon completion of 162nd Lane <br /> into Northfork Oaks Second Addition.
