Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to table any <br />action on this issue in the hope that a petition for partial paving of Bison Street comes in but <br />to continue looking at possibly extending Bison Street connecting the two cul-de-sacs. <br />This will be brought back again for discussion at the May 23, 1995 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson announced that there are a couple of issues that are time sensitive <br />such as Cases 1, 2, 4 and 5 on the Finance Committee. He suggested Council could act on <br />those issues now and continue on with the rest of the cases after. <br /> <br />Case 017: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt <br />Resolution #95-04-079 receiving bids and awarding contract for the purchase of dump <br />box, snow plow, wing and sander from J-Craft, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Peterson <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #95-04-080 receiving bids and awarding contract for floor work at 14100 <br />Jaspar Street N.W to Mid Minnesota in the amount of $32,800, contingent upon <br />verification of references. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The third case on the Finance Committee agenda was a discussion regarding licensing <br />group homes. There was no time for this discussion; therefore, it was tabled. <br /> <br />The Finance Committee revisited the priority street lighting financing issue. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to. look at <br />installing the A priority street lights and the ability to establish a 20-year billing using <br />Anoka Electric's billing system. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: Councilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Resolution ~)5-04-081 to receive bids and award contract to FundworksTM in an amount of <br />$140,000 for the cgmputer system. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Zimmerman, Beyer <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson then suggested taking action on Case #13 because of it also being <br />time sensitive. <br /> <br />Case #13: Introduce Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Lot 1, Block 1 <br />and Lots 1, 2, Block 2, Ramsey Business Park 95 <br /> <br />City Council/April 25, 1995 <br /> Page 18 of 23 <br /> <br /> <br />
