Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to authorize the <br />Police Department to apply for additional funding from the Department of Justice through <br />the COPS FAST Grant Program. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Peterson, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Joint Workshop with Different Commissions <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer inquired about the scheduling of joint workshops for City Council <br />with the different commissions---Planning Commission, Economic Development <br />Commission, and Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder replied that it is on his list of things to do. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman suggested having one with the Planning Commission on the <br />same date as their August meeting---August 1, 1995. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson suggested waiting to make that decision at the July 25, 1995 <br />Council meeting and that it can tentatively be put on the agenda. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
