Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #15: Attorney/Client Privileged Meeting Regarding a Lawsuit; <br /> McLafferty versus the City of Ramsey - Relating to a Group <br /> ltome <br /> <br />This case was discussed in a closed session following adjournment of the regular Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Labor Management Committee <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that the intent of a Labor Management Committee is <br />to improve commtm ication and working relationships between labor and management. To <br />determine if this committee will work, three exploratory sessions will be scheduled. He <br />asked Council to set aside August 15, 19995, 2:15 p.m., to explore this committee idea <br />further. <br /> <br />2) Listening Session <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that Congressman Bill Luther's "Listening Session" <br />has been scheduled for Saturday, August 26, 1995 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Council <br />Chambers at Ramsey City t fall. <br /> <br />3) Schedule Second Meeting of Snowmobile Committee <br /> <br />Consensus of Council was to scheduled the next Snowmobile Committee meeting for 6:30 <br />p.m., Monday, August 28, 1995. <br /> <br />4) Condemnalion Award <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that at the joint meeting with the Anoka City Council, <br />the County Road #116 trail project was discussed along with receiving federal funding for <br />it. As a part of that, we had to acquire trail easement through Ken Laws' property. <br />Council submitted a deposit to court in the amount of $9,100 and the hearing was 35 - 40 <br />days ago. It came back at exactly $9,100.
