Jim
Thompson has submitted that to Judge Moss and he is confident she will be signing it
soon. It will then be served to Mr. Holmberg and a violation of the injunction would be
contempt of court. This is a culmination of about a five-year process. He summarized the
court events and trials. We do not know if the defendant will be appealing this position.
Any appeal has to be within 90 days from September 5 and would have to be made to the
Minnesota State Court of Appeals.

1) Reminder of Joint Meeting with the Park and Recreation Commission

Council was reminded about their joint meeting scheduled for 8:00 p.m., Thursday,
September 14, 1995, with the Park and Recreation Commission.

3) Ground Breaking for Carbon Products

City Adminislxator Schroeder reminded Council about the ground breaking for Carbon
Products on Thursday, September 14, 1995, at 4:00 p.m., at the comer of McKinley and
Uranium Streets.

City Council/September 12, 1995
