Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case #1: Snowmobile Amendment Case and Related Comments <br /> <br />Police Chief Auspos presented a proposed amendment to Chapter 6.04 of the City Code <br />relating to snowmobiling in the City of Ramsey. This provides for sanctions against the <br />registered owner of the snowmobile. He explained the proposed warnings/violations <br />process. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin closed the regular portion oft he City Council meeting at 7:12 p.m. in order <br />to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearin~ <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin opened the public heating at 7:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />A1 Pearson, 14821 Bowers Drive NW, Ramsey, stated that he is not anti-snowmobiling. <br />He would be willing to work with someone in the snowmobile club to set up a trail system <br />on some of his land. The people who ride snowmobiles need to be policing the ones not <br />obeying the rules. If you see someone who gets out of line, you should go talk to them. If <br />handled that way, it should be okay. He expressed appreciation to Council for the time <br />they spent on this issue.
