Case #10: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />1 ) 1996 Staffing <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the Personnel Committee reviewed the 1996 <br />staffing proposal and expressed agreement with the exception of the Public Works <br />maintenance area and the Environmental Services area. Discussion of this portion will be <br />brought back to the next Personnel Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to ratify the <br />action of the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Peterson and <br />Beyer. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Review Request for Councilmember Participation in Employee Group <br />Health Plan <br /> <br />This case was removed from the Personnel agenda. <br /> <br />3) Resolution Approving Per Diem Payment to Professionals Who <br /> Participate on City of Ramsey Interview Panels <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt <br />Resolution //95-11-254 approving per diem payment of $25 to professionals who <br />participate on City of Ramsey interview panels. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />4) Request to be Removed from the Duties of Minute Taking; Linda <br /> Mayer <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the Personnel Committee heard a request from <br />Linda Mayer to have her job duties reviewed. The Committee asked that staff review this <br />and come back with a recommendation at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to ratify the <br />action of the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case 011: <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Approval of Parking Lot Improvements <br />at 6246 Highway #10 NW; Case of Lan# Brothers <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik reported that Lan# Brothers have acquired the former <br />Geothermal property at 6246 Highway #10 NW. They are intending to lease the building <br />to an enclosed rental operation. The property is zoned B-3 Highway Business and, as <br />such, all traveled and display areas of the property must be paved and curbed. Because of <br />the inactivity at this site for quite some time, the property has lost its non-conforming rights <br />to conduct business operations without the required site improvements being in place. <br />Therefore, Brad Lan# has submitted an application for approval of the proposed site <br />improvements.
