CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 28, 1995, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowsld <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Police Chief Mike Auspos <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:09 p.m. and led <br />in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Terry Hendriksen, 15631 Ramsey Boulevard NW, Ramsey, stated that he approached the <br />Finance Committee during their discussion of the Section #22 Drainage easement <br />acquisitions and it was suggested he bring the issue of eminent domain to the Council. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich offered that this would be taken care of sometime this week or next <br />week and we should have the easements by March 10, 1996. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson asked that #5 of the Finance Committee entitled Amendments to <br />the 1996 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges be added as Case #11 on the City Council <br />agenda as there was not time to discuss it at the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder asked to add a petition for a local improvement to the <br />Consent Agenda. It would be listed as #5: Accept Petition for Local Improvement <br />(Bituminous paving of the streets - 151st Avenue, 152nd Avenue and Fluorine Street, west <br />of T.H. #47 in Section 24). <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski reported that the Road and Bridge Committee meeting was not <br />conducted earlier this evening but none of the issues are necessarily time sensitive with the <br />exception of Case #3: Adopt Ordinance Amending Subdivision Ordinance to Require <br />Impact Fees for Arterial Streets. He suggested, however, that this issue could still be <br />addressed at the first meeting in December.
