Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Repeal of Section 5.05 (Curfew) of Chapter Five of City Code <br />and Adoption of Juvenile Curfew Ordinance <br /> <br />Police Chief Auspos explained that Anoka County has adopted a curfew ordinance that <br />applies to the County in its entirety. He suggested that the ordinance is better than the <br />current ordinance the City of Ramsey has. Staff has drafted the County's ordinance in City <br />of Ramsey specific form and it is being presented tonight for adoption. He noted that the <br />County ordinance does, where there is a conflict, supersede a local ordinance and since the <br />County ordinance is more restrictive in some areas, adopting this new ordinance for the <br />City will allow for better enforcement. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:15 p.m. in order <br />to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Pobli~ Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the public hearing to order at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />City Council/November 28, 1995 <br /> Page 3 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
