Case #10: Zoning Bulletin and Zoning News

Commissioner Deemer briefly noted relevant cases in the Zoning Bulletins.

COMMISSION INPUT

1) Certificate of Survey

Commissioner Deemer noted that Case #6 indicates that certificate of surveys are needed on larger
lots also. Chairperson Bawden pointed out that the main concern is with the building of principal
structures, and those are usually built over 50 feet from lot lines on the larger lots. Commissioner
Hendriksen concurred that it would be an unnecessary expense in those cases, but that maybe a
certificate of survey should be required when there is a known dispute over boundary lines.
Commissioner LaDue suggested that maybe it should be on a case by case basis to require a
certificate of survey on larger lots.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Holland to adjourn the meeting

Motion carded.
