the west property line so that a single joint access can serve this facility and the adjacent property to <br />the west (in order to restrict access onto the thoroughfare). She also noted that the developer has <br />petitioned the City for municipal water, sanitary sewer and the construction of Uranium Street <br />N.W., and this project is proceeding as a public improvement project. <br /> <br />Applicant Dennis Sharp informed the Planning Commission that he put up a similar building in <br />Maple Grove and there was quite a demand for this type of circular building. He advised that the <br />demand for rental property would dictate the completion of the entire plan, and that demand <br />appeared to be pretty good. He also explained how the configuration of the building allows for <br />waste storage .screened from the public street. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer inquired whether Mr. Sharp had any objections to moving the access onto <br />County Road #116. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharp stated he was concerned about the extensive landscaping already in place and stated he <br />would like to keep the parking away from the one side. He did feel something could be worked <br />out to relocate the access. <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden expressed his concern of drainage. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharp stated they are planning on going into the storm sewer and that they haven't allowed for <br />ponding. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik discussed curbing expectations. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that City <br />Council approve the proposed site plan for Dennis Sharp & Associates for Lot 1, Block 1, Ramsey <br />67 Industrial Park contingent upon compliance with the City Staff review letter dated June 30, <br />1994. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None.
