Ramsey Planning Commission
August 9, 1994
Page Two

o

In the operation of our business we have installed an
aerator in Lake Eddy which has the effect of keeping
the Lake open year round. I am concerned that this
might be considered an attractive nuisance for children
living on the adjacent property and as such would
request that the Planning Commission require fencing.

o

Because the lots in the proposed development will have
on site septic systems and because they are adjacent to
Lake Eddy, I am also concerned about possible
contamination of the Lake waters from these septic
systems. I believe that the city should require
absorption tests as well as make a determination of the
direction of ground water flow.

I ask that you give serious consideration to my concerns and also
ask that you place conditions on the plat approval that will
satisfactorily address the problems discussed above.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Chuck' Delaney

VCH: j j h
F: \munic\armstrong.
