Further Discussion: Commissioner Wagner advised that the Economic Development Commission <br />was directed-to look at the whole package. Chairperson Bawden stated that in order to go to a <br />public hearing with this, there has to be an understanding of the rationale behind the planning. <br />Commissioner Ullen stated that the Economic Development Commission needs to review the entire <br />package in order to do a re-evaluation. Commissioner Hendriksen again stated that the Planning <br />Commission felt the City of Ramsey would best be served by an east-west connection, but Burns <br />Township would like an alignment with Armstrong Boulevard N.W. Commissioner Kent stated <br />he would like to preserve an alignment with Armstrong Boulevard N.W. for future expansion. <br />Commissioner Deemer also noted that Anoka County Road #22 terminates at Armstrong Boulevard <br />N.W. Chairperson Bawden didn't understand what "entire package" means. Mr. Gromberg <br />stated he felt this was something both Commissions need to address. Commissioner Wagner <br />stated he was~uncomfortable supporting anything at this point. <br /> <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Stafki, Hendriksen, Holland, <br />and Marquart. Voting No: Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Wagner, Kent, and Ullen.
