Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: 1994 Ramsey Recycling Day <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart stated that in the past this event was called the Ramsey Clean-up Day; <br />however, due to the closing of the landfill, this will be a recycling day instead. All activity <br />will take place at Central Park. Arrangements have been made with ACE and ACCAP to <br />receive materials thus far. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin expressed a concern about a traffic stack-up and suggested that the <br />Police Department be involved in the planning of the traffic lanes. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to <br />recommend that City Council authorize City Staff to schedule the 1994 Ramsey Recycling <br />Day for Saturday, May 7, 1994, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and that the Police <br />Department review the traffic pattern proposed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />recommend that City Council authorize Staff to prOCeed with plans for the 1994 Ramsey <br />Recycling Day. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Request Authorization for Annual Pet Clinic <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart stated that the City grossed $745.50 from the Pet Clinic in 1993 and <br />we are anticipating more money with the licensing of cats. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to <br />recommend City Council authorize City Staff to schedule the Annual Pet Clinic for <br />Saturday, April 30, 1994, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson, Beyer <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to recommend <br />City Council authorize Staff to proceed with plans for the Annual Pet Clinic which would <br />include soliciting bids, advertising, etc. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Hardin suggested that when the Pet Clinic is <br />advertised, it should be stated that the resident will be required to purchase a license for <br />their animal. He suggested the resident pay for the license prior to the vaccination, they <br />will then be issued a colored tag that will be given to the vet at the time the vaccinations are <br />paid for. When the resident receives the proof of vaccination, he/she will then receive the <br />animal's license. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
