COMMITTEE INPUT <br /> <br />1) Establish Curbside Recycling Rate <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated the case regarding establishing a curbside recycling rate <br />was voted upon earlier in the meeting; however, all five members were not present. The <br />vote resulted in a tie. The motion was to set a $3.05 quarterly fee for recycling service - a <br />fee to be collected from the residents and billed by Anoka Electric Cooperative (AEC). <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to <br />recommend City Council adopt the resolution setting the curbside recycling rate at $3.05 <br />per quarter, beginning with the first quarter of 1995, and directing Staff to begin the <br />conversion process and notification of AEC and all affected residential properties. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
