Mr. Schroeder expressed the hope that the Public Works Department would be in the block
building before snowfall. He added that he expects to hold onto the Highway #47 facility
for a year or so and stated it is easier to move when you can take your time. Mr. Schroeder
reiterated that he would like to get some of the cost estimates and then bring this issue back
to the Committee.

The Finance Committee directed that Mr. Mcvissen conduct an inventory of equipment for
storage space purposes and what could be stored where and that he meet with Mr.
Schroeder and Mr. Jankowski to discuss the issue of renting out the metal facility. He anticipated that a
portion of the utility will need to be extended to the facility outside of existing rights-of-
ways or utility easements. Mr. Schroeder stated this would create the need to obtain
easements and/or right-of-way to facilitate these extensions.

Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to recommend
City Council authorize Staff to obtain proposals for appraisal/acquisition of right-of-
way/easements for utility extension for Anoka Electric Cooperative.

Motion carded.
