Case //5: Personnel Issue <br /> <br />Fire Chief Grfff'm stated that recently a situation arose within the Fire Department that called <br />for disciplinary actions and suspension of a fire fighter. He stated that if any of the <br />Boardmembers had any questions or concerns, he would speak to them individually. <br /> <br />BOARD INPUT <br /> <br />1) Status of Personnel <br /> <br />Boardmember Pearson inquired what the status was of the Fire Department personnel. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Griffin reported that there are 24 people on Department. There are eight fire <br />fighters available for days (six of them respond from work, two do not). He stated that the <br />Department could use more daytime fire fighters. He felt the number of evening fire <br />fighters available was adequate. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Boardmember Williams to adjourn the <br />meeting, <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmember Beyer, Boardmembers <br />Williams, McLaughlin, Pearson and Simpson.
