Voting No: None. <br /> <br />BOARD INPUT <br /> <br />1) By-Laws <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that Boardmember Williams had given him a copy of <br />the Fire Department By Laws. There have been amendments to the by-laws, basically <br />amended by the Departmem. Mr. Schroeder expressed a concern about that as these are <br />personnel issues and should be dealt with by Council. The by-laws talk about increasing <br />increments. He questioned if Council increases the increments, will the Department be <br />concerned because the by-laws say something different. <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Kapler stated that the by4aws has to be a working document so things will <br />be changed. <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager McAloney expressed concern about it not being kept up <br />to date. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder suggested that he would like to discuss this with Ms. McAloney, Chief <br />Griffin and Assistant Chief Kapler and place it on a furore Fire Board agenda for <br />discussion. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Boardmember Williams to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
