The concensus of the
Commission is there will be no change to the policy adopted at the Park and Recreation
Commission meeting of May 13, 1993, with the exception that Commissioner Cook volunteered to
add some rationale to the policy that may aid in the general public's understanding of the policy.

Mr. Boos indicated the issue of striping soccer, football, baseball and softball fields has been
resolved.

Commissioner Florentius suggested that the shredded remains of the Central Park sign along
Variolite be removed.

Discussion ensued regarding No Parking/Bike Lane signage along Sunwood Drive. The
consensus of the Commission is to have the bike lane adjacent to but off the roadway.

Next Park and Recreation Commission Meeting

The next regular scheduled Park and Recreation Commission meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on
Thursday, June 9, 1994, at the Municipal Center unless arrangements can be made to have the
meeting at Sunfish Lake.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Chairperson Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Cook to adjourn the meeting.

Park and Recreation Commission/May 12, 1994
Page 3 of 4
