Mr. Schroeder stated that 153rd Avenue N.W. could be raised at Variolite. <br /> <br />Mr. Schaeffer agreed that they would look into that idea. <br /> <br />Councilmcmber Zimmerman asked if the City would be able to receive fee title for the entire <br />80-acre parcel. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder replied that fee title would be held for the remainder of the 80-acre parcel <br />south of the proposed roadway. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if condemnation could be done to which Mr. <br />Schroeder replied yes. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder stated that the City is proposing to hold this parcel for a nature preserve. <br />The only construction anticipated is an off-road trail. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired about MSA. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder stated that some dollars have been set aside from the park fund for the park <br />items. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson inquired about saving the parcel for a wetland preserve to which Mr. <br />Schroeder replied that would be possible. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder added that a before and after appraisal will be done. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gilbertson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman that this issue <br />should be placed on the July 26, 1994 Council agenda and that letters be sent to the <br />residents Who are affected by the extension and to those who had expressed an interest in <br />the project. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson and Councilmember Zimmerman. Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />Case #1: Priority Street Lighting Costs <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gilbertson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman that the priority <br />street lighting costs discussion be placed on the Finance Committee agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson and Councilmember Zimmerman.
