He added that <br />the City is proud of River's Bend Park and it's handicap accessibility. Councilmember <br />Peterson ,felt it would be better to spend thc money on parks and planning as it is a benefit <br />to more people. He added he would be supportive of money going for the topographic <br />mapping Or thc storm water management plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Resolution ~94-02-021 allocating the 1994 Community Development Block Grant Funds <br />as follows: $2,000 to CEAP, $1,000 to ARC, $3,000 to Alexandra House, $2,000 to <br />Rise, $2,000 to Meals on Wheels, $2,000 to ACCAP Senior Outreach and the remainder to <br />Storm Water Planning ($20,000). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin and Peterson. <br />Voting No: Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case 06: County Road #116 Trail Corridor Appraisal Services <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that on January 18, 1994, the Council authorized a <br />contract ,with Evergreen Land Services for appraisal and acquisition services for <br />153rd/155th. At that time, Staff noted the furore intent to amend this contract for the <br />County Road #116 Trail Corridor. The quoted price for these services is $1,750. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to authorize <br />an amendment to Evergreen Land Services contract to include appraisal/acquisition of one <br />parcel for the County Road #116 Trail Corridor. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Hardin, Beyer <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case 07: Report from Road and Bridge Committee <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski informed Council that the City is able to designate an additional <br />.47 miles of additional MSA roadway. Consensus of the Committee was that the following <br />two plans should be submitted for comment: 1) Extension of McKinley Street N.W., east <br />of County Road #57 and northward to the alignment of Tungsten Street N.W. to County <br />Road #1 I. 2) Extension of what will be a portion of the bridge corridor from Trunk <br />Highway #10 up to what will be Sunwood Drive N.W. between Sunfish lake Boulevard <br />N.W. and Ramsey Boulevard N.W. Mr. Jankowski stated that the assessment procedure <br />was also on the agenda regarding the annual street maintenance program. This issue was <br />really not discussed. He stated he would like to prepare a feasibility study along the same <br />assessment rules as in the past. He added he would like to take this year's program and <br />show Coiancil what it would look like under the new program. The Road and Bridge <br />Committee will be dealing with that issue again and no action by Council is required. <br /> <br />Case 08: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the Committee discussed the City's organizational <br />chart.
