Ms. Hart stated that the Finance Committee discussed establishing a water rate for the sale <br />of water to parties not directly connected to the City water utility system at a rate of $2.20 <br />per 1,0001gallons. They also reviewed the 1994 Enterprise Fund Budgets. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #94-03-061 establishing water rate for the sale of water to parties not directly <br />connected to the City water utility system and adding this charge to the schedule of Rates <br />and Charges. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer, Peterson <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Resolution <br />#94-03-062 adopting the 1994 City of Ramsey Enterprise Funds Operating Budgets. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer, Peterson <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Update on Adult Bookstore <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that Mr. Holmberg is planning to appeal the decision of the <br />8th Circuit Court to the Supreme Court. He stated he should be hearing from Mr. <br />Thompson of Homes and Graven regarding the appeal and that there should be more <br />information available at the April 12 Council meeting. <br /> <br />2) City Administrator's Contract <br /> <br />Council s~cheduled a closed meeting for 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 1994, to discuss <br />the City Administrators review and contract. <br /> <br />3) Solid Waste Management Charge <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart stated she received information that the City is not exempt from the <br />solid waste management charge imposed by the County. This impacts the City <br />tremendously. Upon contacting Anoka County, she was told they are attempting to appeal. <br />Ms. Hart offered to keep the Council apprised of all information regarding the charge as <br />well as any action on the appeal. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
