Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />The public hearing adjourned at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />CotlIlcil Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at <br />7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Ordinance g94~07 which is an ordinance repealing Section 4.2.1 of the City Charter. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mr. Goodrich stated that the Charter Commission will wait until after <br />the 1994 election before doing anything that will have an effect on the election process. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Rezone Sunfish Square from Industrial to <br />R-1 Urban Residential, Multiple Residential (MR) and B-2 <br />Business; Case of North Suburban Development Company, <br />Inc. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that on July 26, 1994, City Council adopted findings <br />of fact and introduced an ordinance to rezone Sunfish Square to R-1 Urban Residential, <br />Multiple Residential and B-2 Business. This ordinance is now eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt <br />Ordinance #94-08 rezoning Sunfish Square to R-1 Urban Residential, B-2 Business and <br />Multiple Residential and to direct City Staff to withhold publication of the ordinance until <br />the plat has been properly recorded at Anoka County. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hardin and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />Case #4: Solutions to Drainage Concerns in Section #22 <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that Council had directed him to look at possible solutions <br />for Mr. Terry Hendriksen's concerns regarding the drainage in Section #22. Mr. <br />Jankowski summarized the alternative solutions as follows: gl: Create ditch and culvert <br />system throughout Section #22; 2) Create ditch and culvert system from Culvert gl to <br />Wetland #656; 3) Improve drainage between Culvert gl and Wetland #656; 4) Install <br />storm sewer down 156th Lane N.W. between Culvert gl and Culvert #2; and 5) <br />Construct pond to accommodate runoff generated from paving 156th Lane N.W.
