Regarding: Initiate an insurance internal service fund: You stated that you, Jessie and Kay should look at this fund balance. You mentioned the need to re-examine - our exposure is and we need to cover % of expended fund balance. Council needs to approve the water study. Place on the first agenda in October. Steve Jankowski will be writing a case for Council - October 11, 1994 - regarding approving the water study. With regard to AEC doing our utility billing prepare an examination of what our billing net cost is compared to what it was before. With regard to City Code - you were directed to make sure Bill Goodrich takes care of this. You slated you would call him the next day. With regard to updating the street lighting map, it was suggested that Intern Heidi Welsch should do it. With regard to developing a T.H. #47 Corridor Plan . . . you were directed to "get going" on this after the plan is adopted. On the CIP show $10,000 as Highway #47 Corridor Study for 1995. Check with the County policy regarding right-of-way particularly as it relates to County Road #116. Schedule a 1997 or 1998 expenditure on the CIP if necessary. A job for an intern: Survey/Check benchmarks to see if tampered with - see if still there. With regard to the goals list - List the Improvement Projects by number - have a list of projects for 1993, 1994, etc. - once a project gels a number, delete the verbiage and add it to that list. With regard to the following goal: Work with Anoka County and the Minnesota Department of Transportation on the realignment of Highway #5 and Highway #47 - the following discussion took place: You question the importance of the realignment. Ryan stated that if you do not think it is important, you should get the County to say it's not important and we are done with it. You stated it should be realigned but you need to decide if it's important enough to expend dollars to get it on as a higher priority.
