(Public Works Facility) <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case #1: Street Lighting in Pine Cove Addition; Improvement Project <br /> #94-21 <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson adjourned the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:07 p.m. in <br />order to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />P. l~blic Hearine <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the public hearing to order at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski read a letter from Paul and Laura Johnson, 17314 Sapphire Street <br />N.W. in support of the street lighting improvement project for Pine Cove Addition. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the new owners of Lot 3, Block 2 are also in favor <br />of the project. The previous owner had signed a petition against the project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmember Peterson, Hardin, Beyer <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing adjourned at 7:09 p.m. <br /> <br />Colln¢il Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at <br />7:09 p.m. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that this improvement project calls for installation of two <br />subdivision street lights and one priority intersection street light in Pine Cove Addition. <br />The cost of the installation and operation of the subdivision street lights will be recovered <br />through the established utility billing rate of $4.55 per month. The priority intersection <br />light would also be installed at the same time; the operation and installation costs currently <br />are funded out of the General Fund. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gilbertson and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Resolution #94-09-213 ordering the installation of street lights in accordance with the <br />feasibility study prepared for Improvement Project g94-21. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
