The public hearing adjourned at 7:47 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson called the regular portion of the City Council meeting to order at <br />7:47 p.m. <br /> <br />Police Chief Auspos stated that application has been made for an off-sale intoxicating liquor <br />license by J.N.T. Enterprises, Inc., to be located at 5900 - 167th Avenue N.W. He <br />reported that investigation of information supplied by the applicant shows no cause for <br />denial of this request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to <br />approve the J.N.T. Enterprises, Inc. liquor license application for the property located at <br />5900 - 167th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Peterson, Zimmerman and Hardin. Voting <br />No: None. Absent: Mayor Gilbertson and Councilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />Case #17: Request for Site Plan Review to Move in Storage Building; <br /> Case of Federal Cartridge <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Federal Cartridge is proposing to clear the structure <br />from the homestead parcel they own on the west side of Variolite Street. It is proposed that <br />the home will be demolished and the garage will be moved across the street onto the <br />shooting range for use as a storage building. She reported that the Planning Commission <br />conducted a public hearing and no verbal or written comments were received. Ms. Frolik <br />added that Mr. Jack McKusick is present representing Federal Cartridge. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to <br />approve the request of Federal Cartridge Company to move a 620 square foot storage <br />building onto the shooting range. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Peterson asked if the Fire Department could use that <br />house for a practice burn to which Mr. McKusick replied that he hoped they would be able <br />to and that it was being discussed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Peterson, Zimmerman and Hardin. Voting <br />No: None. Absent: Mayor Gilbertson and Councilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />Case #18: Request for Site Plan Approval to Expand the Concession <br /> Building at Gametime Sports Park; Case of KRS Investments <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that KRS Investments is requesting site plan approval to <br />expand the concession building at Gametime Sports Park at 14622 Ferret Street N.W. to <br />include public restrooms and office space. They are proposing a 238 square foot <br />expansion which will connect the two existing buildings to form one .building. No <br />additional landscaping or. screening is required with the expansion. She reported that the <br />Planning Commission rec'ommended approval of the site plan and also that KRS has stated <br />that the paving and curbing of the driveway and 30 parking spaces will be completed a year <br />ahead of schedule. <br /> <br />City Council/October 11, 1994 <br /> Page 18 of 29 <br /> <br /> <br />
