He stated that the County and the School <br />district have been informed. <br /> <br />3) Mrs. Minnesota <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the City has been approached by Sherry Olson <br />who has been nominated for the Mrs. Minnesota title and she would like to represent the <br />City of Ramsay. She has suppor~ from the Ramsey Lions Club and would like the City's <br />support also. She is not asking for financial support from the City, more like public <br />relations type things. Mr. Schroeder stated that this pageant is different from the normal <br />beauty pageant as it "concentrates on more than swimsuits." <br /> <br />4) City Wide Garage Door Company <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that Staff has been working with City Wide Garage <br />Door Company to try to improve their facility. We have been working with them on a daily <br />basis. We are still working with them. What Council has proposed in its ordinance, and to <br />the owner, is effectively a $25,000 upgrade from what he's proposed. Staff will be <br />probably requesting the City participate some in the upgrade. <br /> <br />5) Game Fair <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that Staff has sent out a letter to Mr. Chuck Delaney <br />regarding the City having a booth at the 1995 Game Fair. He suggested a committee to <br />work on reducing the amount of impact the Game Fair has on the neighborhood. <br />Councilmembers Zimmerman and Hardin have expressed interest in working with Mr. <br />Delaney and Mr. Sehroeder offered to schedule a meeting. <br /> <br />6) Delivery of Council Agendas <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the Police Department normally delivers the <br />Council agenda packets on Friday night. They have expressed concern that it is a problem <br />to deliver them on Fridays and would prefer that they get to deliver them on Thursday <br />nights instead. Mr. Schroeder inquired if it would be just as effective to put the agendas in <br />Council's City mail slots if Staff was unable to complete the agenda in time for a Thursday <br />night delivery. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson stated that would be no problem <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer stated that Friday's are early enough for her. <br /> <br />7) First Council Meeting in November <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reminded Council that due to elections, the fa'st meeting in <br />November will be held on Monday, November 7, 1994. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to <br />adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
