Miller, Inc. for Improvement Projects g93-11 and g93-13 (1994 Street Paving Program - Divisions A and C) Adopt Resolution #94-10-241 approving partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement Project g94-17 (The Ramsey-Anoka Water System Interconnect) Adopt Resolution g94-10-242 approving final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement project #92-14 (Grading and bituminous surfacing of Waco Street N.W. and Waeo Drive N.W. from 179th Lane N.W. to the northern City boundary) Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer, Peterson and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. COUNCIL BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARING Case #1: Improvement Project #94-22 (Extension of Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, Watermain and Street Restoration to Service the Eastern 700 Feet of 150th Lane N.W. in Pondvale Estates 2nd Addition) Mayor Gilbertson adjourned the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:10 p.m. in order to conduct the public hearing. Public Hearing Mayor Gilbertson called the public hearing to order at 7:10 p.m. Presentation City Engineer lankowski stated that a public hearing had been scheduled and a proposed feasibility study had been done with regard to Improvement Project g94-22. Last Wednesday, at the request of some of the neighbors, an informational type meeting was held with a number of the affected residents. Two of the people were in favor of the project; however, it was met with very strong opposition from the rest of the residents present. The two residents in favor of the project agreed to withdraw the petition; therefore, Mr. Jankowski asked to withdraw the project. Citizen Input Ellen Stanley, 5670 - 150th Lane N.W., Ramsey, commented that with the election drawing near, she realized there may be some new Councilmembers. She stated that when they purchased their home they were given a five-year time frame for when the water and sewer would be available to them.
