There seems to be a major disparity between the
information given them and the information given to the Metropolitan Council. He stated
he is here to ask for a resolution of that discrepancy.

Mayor Gilbertson stated that the City went to the Met Council with a MUSA expansion
request.

Mr. Hendriksen stated that the Mayor's comment to the resident seemed to indicate there is
no plan.

Mayor Oilbertson stated there is no decision. The City put a package together as an
itinerary and went from there.

Mr. Hendriksen stated that our City Administrator stated that when Council approved it,
they did so contingent upon all references to the bridge crossing being removed prior to
shipping it off to the Met Council. He (Hendriksen) went to the Met Council and obtained
a copy of the document they have. It shows the alignment the City is proposing, so he
didn't think there was any doubt that this is the plan.

Mayor Gilbertson stated it is a preliminary plan.

Mr. Hendriksen stated it is not preliminary, and he read a part of Mayor Gilbertson's letter
to the Met Council.

Mayor Gilbenson reiterated it is a preliminary plan.

City Council/November 22, 1994
