I <br /> <br /> TRANSCRIBER FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES <br />I By: Kay McAloney, Personnel Coordinator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Administrative Services has two transcribing machines, one of which is in need of <br />replacement. The Norcom 905 transcriber that is in need of replacement is asset number <br />#699 and~is listed under 1191 (Community Development) with an "in service date" of <br />7/31/89, 10 year life and a cost of $429.00. As the asset's useful life is less than four <br />years, it isr not fully funded for replacement. As of 12/31/92, the Equipment Replacement <br />Fund contains $150.00 toward this replacement. <br /> <br />Two bids have been received. One is from Midwest Business Products, model number <br />TRC-7050 from Sanyo at a cost of $306.00 plus tax, totalling $325.89. The other bid is <br />from Nelstm's Office Supply, model number T-2020 from Olympus at a cost of $339.00 <br />plus tax, totalling $361.04.
