Absent: Commissioner Thorud. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden adjourned the regular Planning and Zoning meeting at 7:35 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the f~lowing public hearings: <br /> <br />1) RequeSt for a Conditional Use Permit for a Home Occupation; case of Peggy Fritch. <br /> <br />2) Request for a Conditional Use Permit for a Temporary Structure; case of School District <br /> #11. <br /> <br />3) Requ~t for a Conditional Use Permit to Disassemble Engines and Transmissions and <br /> Conch~t Wholesale Operations in the Industrial District; case of Danny's Tranny's. <br /> <br />4) RequeSt to Rezone Certain Property from B-1 Business to R-1 Residential; case of Gary <br /> Gorhain and Wayne Johnson. <br /> <br />5) Request to Rezone Lots 1-17, Outlot F, River's Bend 3rd Addition from B-1 Business to <br /> R- 1 U~ban Residential; case of Ramsey Center Partnership. <br /> <br />6) Vacation of Certain Road Right-of-Way and Drainage Easements in Sunny Ponds <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting back to order at <br />7:51 p.m. ' <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit for a Home Occupation; case of <br />Peggy Fritch <br /> <br />Commissionet~ Deemer inquired how many similar conditional use permits (CUPs) were currently <br />active, and ZOning Administrator Frolik stated that there are approximately 4 active CUPs for <br />beauty shops. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission proceeded to review the findings of fact. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Commission that #1 through #5 would remain as presented. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to amend #6 to read <br />"That the appllcant will reside at the location of the proposed home occupation." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, <br />Hendriksen, a~d LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Terry and Thorud. <br /> <br />It was the conSensus of the Commission that g7 through g9 would remain as presented. <br /> <br />Motion by COmmissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to amend #10 <br />through #16 ~ the affirmative. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Hendriksen, <br />Holland, and IJ, aDue. Voting No: None.
