I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br />I <br /> I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />NOTE CITy COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The CommiSSion noted the following City Council meeting minutes: <br /> <br />1) City (?,ouncil public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated July 27, 1993. <br /> <br />2) City C, otmcil public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated August 10, 1993. <br /> <br /> 3) City C, ouncil public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated August 24, 1993. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden adjourned the regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting at 7:37 <br />p.m. in order to conduct the following public hearings: <br /> <br />1) Requedst for Preliminary Plat Approval of Chestnut Ridge; Case of Good Value Homes. <br /> <br />2) Request for Preliminary Plat Approval of Sunfish Square; Case of North Suburban <br /> Devek~pment Company. <br /> <br />3) RequeSt for a Conditional Use Permit to Maintain a Horse on Less than 3 Acres; Case of <br /> ThOm,raSr and Carrie Olson. <br /> <br />4) Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Establish a Towing Service and Auto Repair <br /> Facility. in the Industrial District; Case of Champlin Towing. <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting back to order at <br />8:21 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: ,Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Maintain a Horse on Less <br /> than 3 Acres; Case of Thomas and Carrie Oison <br /> <br />Zoning Admiaistrator Frolik stated that in addition to needing a conditional use permit for the <br />horse, the situation of the shelter being located closer to the property line than it should be has to be <br />addressed. ~ere is a 12' x 16' shed adjacent to the run-in shed and fenced pasture that has to <br />have the exterior facing finished to come into compliance with City Code. <br /> <br />The CommissiOn proceeded to review the findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to amend Finding's <br />#14 to read: "That the proposed use will not create excessive additional requirements at public cost <br />for public facilities and services and will not be detrimental to the economic welfare of the <br />community". <br /> <br />Motion carried~ Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland and Thorud. <br />Voting No: NOne.
