Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer and Peterson. Voting <br />No: CouncilmemberHardin. Absent: Mayor Gilbertson. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request to Purchase New Computer Network System for the <br /> Police Department <br /> <br />Police Sergeant Arneson presented background of the computer network system for the <br />Police Department. He stated that the State is currently changing their computer system and <br />"we do not know what language they will have". He added he is postponing a <br />recommendation until more is known about the State's computer system. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to table <br />this case until more information is available. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman, Beyer and Peterson. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gilbertson. <br /> <br />Case #4: Charitable Gambling Organizations Compliance with City Code <br /> <br />Finance Officer Helling stated the purpose of this case is to inform the Finance Committee <br />that there is still one charitable gambling organization not in compliance with City Code. <br />She sent another letter to them regarding their noncompliance and suggested that this <br />should be an action item at the next meeting if they have not come into compliance at that <br />time. The action could be to not renew their charitable gambling license in February 1994. <br /> <br />Consensus was to have this item put on a subsequent agenda for discussion and action. <br /> <br />Case #$: Outstanding Debtedness and Tax Increment Review <br /> <br />Finance Officer Helling stated she was not quite finished with the outstanding debtedness <br />and tax increment review but added that it would be on the next agenda <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson thanks Mrs. Helling for the wonderful job she's done for the City <br />of Rarnsey and added that he has learned a lot from her. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman and Peterson. Voting <br />No: None.
